Wednesdays on the Stoop: Christine Neulieb

Wednesdays On the Stoop, a series of free programming by Zoom every Wednesday from 4 pm - 5 pm. The sessions are designed to be a constant structure--every Wednesday at 4 you can count on Blue Stoop to plug you into your writing energy with an informal and supportive space.

Do you find it tough to make your passion for writing produce actual output? Do issues with executive function, sensory processing, or emotional regulation trip you up? Do you sometimes feel like your own worst enemy? If you’re neurodivergent, you may face a daily, frustrating struggle with getting things done. This can be especially disheartening for writers and other creatives. Christine Neulieb, editorial director of Lanternfish Press and a card-carrying member of the ADHD Kids’ Club, will lead this session. Participants will take part in writing exercises that explore positive and toxic notions of productivity as well as healthy self-care. While the session is designed with the neurodivergent writer especially in mind, all are welcome!

Christine Neulieb is the editorial director of Lanternfish Press. In addition to acquiring fiction and memoir for Lanternfish, she writes speculative fiction and is a 2015 graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop. She currently lives in Birmingham, AL, with her husband but looks forward to returning to the Philadelphia area in 2021. Their dog Mormont, a very good boi, hopes to meet Gritty and become his new best friend.
