Wednesdays on the Stoop: Andy Abramowitz with Camille Pagán

Wednesdays On the Stoop, a series of free programming by Zoom every Wednesday from 4 pm - 5 pm. The sessions are designed to be a constant structure--every Wednesday at 4 you can count on Blue Stoop to plug you into your writing energy with an informal and supportive space.

Join writers Andy Abramowitz and Camille Pagán in a reading of their latest novels and a rousing discussion around creating perfectly imperfect/flawed characters in their work.

Andy Abramowitz is the author of Thank you, Goodnight and A Beginner’s Guide to Free Fall as well as his latest DARLING AT THE CAMPSITE. His work has been hailed as “soul-searching. . . fun and unfailingly heartfelt” by The Washington Post and “funny and compassionate” by Kirkus Reviews. Rock star Rick Springfield also praised his first novel saying, “Thank You, Goodnight is a hilarious send-up of the music industry, late-onset adulthood, and where the two often uncomfortably meet. It’s also a sage novel for anyone who believes that our talents don’t fade as we get older, they only get better." A native of Baltimore, Andy lives with his wife, two daughters, and their dog, Rufus, in Philadelphia, where he enjoys classic rock, pitchers’ duels, birthday cake, the sound of a Fender Rhodes piano, and the month of October. He is also a lawyer.

Camille Pagán is the #1 Amazon Charts and Washington Post bestselling author of seven novels, including This Won't End Well, I’m Fine and Neither Are You, and Life and Other Near-Death Experiences, which has been optioned for film. Her new novel, DON’T MAKE ME TURN THIS LIFE AROUND, will be published by Lake Union Publishing on May 11, 2021. Her books have been translated into nearly two dozen languages. Pagán has written for the New York Times, O, The Oprah Magazine, Parade, Real Simple, Time, and many other publications. Learn more about her work at www.camillepagan.com.
