Thursdays on the Stoop--Ambition as a Guiding Force w/ Arthur Tarley

Defining the ambition you have for your work can help get you started on your pages, develop vision that pushes your story forward, and focus your revisions. We’ll discuss how labeling our ambition for individual short stories, poems, novels, and everything in between can help new ideas and works in progress fulfill their potential.

Arthur Tarley is a writer originally from Queens, NY. He has studied with many wonderful people at Kenyon Review, StoryStudio Chicago, and Catapult. Arthur's work has appeared in Vox, Current Affairs, The Dillydoun Review, and elsewhere. He also publishes short humor pieces in Artie’s Grab Bag on Substack.
